A Wonderful Night of Revival

Tonight, I was blessed to preach once again at Sedgefield Baptist Church for their revival services.  I have fallen in love with these precious people.  They have really touched my heart.  I have been praying for months about these services as I always do when I am invited to share in revival services.  In my prayers, I have asked God to help me be a blessing to this church.  Tonight, I can honestly say that the blessing has been mine.

I was also blessed as some of our amazing folks at Southside led the music tonight.  The trio and solist did a great job and made their pastor so proud.  They make it so easy for me to preach after being led in worship by such gifted people.

To top it all off, the support from our Southside family was special.  As I walked in, it brought comfort and joy to my heart to have such amazing prayer warriors with me.  I am the most blessed pastor in the world and I could not be more grateful for how my church family comes to be with me each time I am in meetings like tonight no matter how short or long the distance may be.

I am praying for the Holy Spirit to really move tomorrow night.  I am also praying for a young man that will be there that really needs to make a decision for Christ. Finally, I am praying for my wife, and four others from Southside that will be leading us in musical worship.  God, please pour your rain upon us in this service.

Thank you Jesus for the opportunity and pleasure that you have given this imperfect man to preach your perfect word.
