The Legacy Continues at Fuller Homestead

My parents live in our family homeplace, the same house that my dad was born in.  As a child, my dad started training me early to take care of the yard.  For years, I raked and mowed this yard without ever expreiencing an end.  Needless to say, the job was never done.

Well, the story is the same today.  The work at Fuller homestead is never done.  So now that we are grown and gone, dad has enlisted his grandchildren to help keep his yard clean.  This is a picture of Luke blowing leaves.  He loves going to do this and will stay outside for hours blowing leaves.  It blesses my heart to see my son doing the same thing that I did as a child, although we did not have a blower, we just had a rake.
As Luke blows leaves for Nana and Papa, it reminds me that the legacy goes forward with that good old fashion Fuller work ethic.
